Founded in 1981 by Daryll Propp, Propp Realty Management celebrates 30 years of commercial real estate management in Metro Denver and Jefferson County. As one of the oldest management firms of its kind, Propp practices what it preaches with its tagline of “Go West, Go Green, Go Healthy.”
Go West – Jefferson County is the gateway to the Rocky Mountains!
Go Green – Propp buildings have a reputation of being energy efficient and the flagship building –
Golden Hill Office Centre was recently rated an amazing 99 points from the ENERGY STAR Program. An ENERGY STAR-labeled building is one that can demonstrate energy performance of at least 50% better than an average facility. The Applewood Tech Center and Academy Park Commons buildings are also
ENERGY STAR-rated. In addition to its green buildings, Propp designates parking for hybrids, car pools and its buildings are conveniently located by bus lines and walking avenues.
Go Healthy – Propp Realty buildings offer tenants park-like settings with trails or adjacent trails on site and several buildings house full fitness centers.
“We have 16 buildings in Jefferson County,” explains founder Propp, a Colorado native. “I’m always marketing our foothills as the premiere location to work, live and play.” Propp offers leases for large and small commercial space in Golden’s Applewood area, Lakewood’s Union Square area (Union and 6th Avenue) and south Jefferson County with Academy Park (Wadsworth and Hampden).
“We enjoy excellent retention rates thanks to our customer service philosophy,” says Propp. “We set the standard in property management by going the extra mile to care more and do more to ensure are tenants are pleased with properties that are clean, professional inside and out, with beautiful landscaping and excellent customer service. “
Propp Realty buildings are home to more than 200 companies including the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL), Veterans Administration, RMH Group, Colorado Representative Ed Permlmutter, National Business Center, Bureau of Land Management and Exempla Health System.
In addition to its Denver operations, Propp Realty undertook a new venture in the Northern Black Hills of South Dakota with the Elkhorn Ridge Development. Daryll Propp is working with Spearfish, SD and the surrounding area to create a progressive development project which includes upscale homes, an 18-hole golf course with golf course homes, RV resort with luxury cabins and amenities galore.
“It’s a great development, but protecting the historic value of the project is just as important to us,” says Propp. “Our Courtyard Barns are one of a kind and we’ve restored them to their original beauty. The Anderson Ranch was a dairy farm with a unique cold-water spring running through the ranch to keep the milk cool. We’ve restored that house as well and the spring is still running strong.”
The Elkhorn Ridge development began with the popular, award winning Elkhorn Ridge RV Resort, now in it’s seventh year. The resort features a pool, hot tub, top-of-the-line shower facilities, laundry, lighted basketball, volleyball and tennis courts, walking paths and is complete with luxury cabins and a quaint convenience store lodge with a gift and liquor store. Furry friends have a beautiful off-leash, fenced are to play in as well. The resort was named to the Top 100 RV Resorts by Good Sam’s and has a four-star rating by Wooddall’s.
